Trail Hero 2022 News!
The 2022 year is upon us and we are gearing up for the largest and most inclusive event yet. With that being said, we will be issuing monthly Newsletters to ensure our communication is on point. These Newsletters will inform each of you new opportunities inside the Trail Hero event as well as keys to ensure that you get all the info you need to maximize your off-roading adventure with us. We want you all to have the best time here and the only way to do that is to know everything we are up to, so you can take full advantage of everything we offer.
First: A Thank You…
We must first thank all of you for attending the Trail Hero event. Without your continued support, we would not be able to build such a cool way to educate people about how necessary motorized off road access is to people with Special Needs and Veterans. It is with your help, that we can reach out, raise, and provide for these unique user groups.
Second: Our First Mission…
Rich Klein is meeting with the Southern Utah Amputee Support Group for a presentation and talk of inspiration on January 18th, 2022. This talk will showcase the importance of fighting for motorized access to our lands is, how people can get involved, as well as how our message has been received by the community and the impact that the event has had.
Third: All New Merchandise
Every industry has been taxed since the beginning of the pandemic, with that being said, our merchandise that we ordered for the 2021 Trail Hero event has just arrived. As lame as it is that we didn’t have it all on site for you, the god news is that it is now all available on line in our Store here: https://www.thetrailhero.com/products We now have Trail Hero shirts, hats, gloves, towels, tumblers, hoodies, plaques, and more. We will continue to order throughout the year but come out with exclusive event gear that will only be available on site. Make sure you get your gear sooner than later as there are limited quantities.
Fourth: Registration
Vendor Registration opens February 1st and we have expanded to 120 available spaces. Our vendor show should be pretty rad for all you attendees. Additionally, we will have live music acts playing every afternoon in vendor row AND we have a confirmed 6 food vendors for all week of the event. Trail Rider Registration for Trail Riders opens May 1st and we are reducing the number of participants per trail to help ensure the trails are fun and timely for all participants. That means for the first time in Trail Hero History, we are limiting total attendance numbers. Last year we saw 4835 total vehicles on guided efforts. We will be limiting the total amount to 5000 but expanding how many trails we are offering to help ensure there isn’t too much action on a single trail. Simply put, no one wants to sit in a traffic jam on the trail. We are working to avoid that at all costs.
Fifth: Where to See Us Next
We will be attending the Winter 4x4 Jamboree this week and the Hammer Hunt the week of KOH in February. Rich and Woody will be guiding trails throughout the week, Aaron will be guiding Friday and Saturday. Many of the Trail Hero guides also help guide during the event as well. Winter 4x4 is a great family fun event that include some of the best trails in the country. The Hammer Hunt is a way for players to win all sorts of great industry gear, parts, and prizes.
That makes for a great first Newsletter of the 2022 year. We are so excited to see you all at the 7th Annual Monster Energy Trail Hero powered by OPTIMA Batteries. We have a ton of news that we expect to unveil to all of you over the coming months leading up to the largest trail ride event in the U.S.
Thank you and I’ll see you on the trail!
